Taiwan’s CSC reports higher operating revenues and income for Jan-Apr

Taiwan’s largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that in the January-April period this year its carbon steel sales volume totaled 2.66 million mt.

In the given period, CSC’s operating revenues amounted to NTD 126.46 billion ($3.9 billion), up by 2.2 percent year on year, while its operating income totaled NTD 1.02 billion ($31.7 million), compared to a profit of NTD 761.74 million recorded in the same period of 2023.
