CPCA: China’s passenger vehicle retail sales up 29.6 percent in August

Passenger vehicle retail sales in China are expected to amount to 1.88 million units in August this year, up 29.6 percent year on year, while up 3.4 percent month on month, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

In particular, the new energy vehicle sales in China in August are expected to reach 520,000 units, up 108.3 percent year on year, while up 7.0 percent month on month.
