Passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 1.122 million units during the July 1-23 period this year, rising by 2.0 percent year on year, while decreasing by 7.0 percent month on month, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) based on its preliminary statistics.
In the current year up to July 23, passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 10.646 million units, up 3.0 percent year on year. In the July 1-23 period, passenger new energy vehicle (NEV) retail sales totaled 442,000 units, up 23.0 percent year on year, while decreasing by 2.0 percent month on month.
In the current year up to July 23, passenger NEV retail sales reached 3.528 million units, up 35.0 percent year on year.
