Passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 439,000 units during the September 1-10 period this year, up 14 percent year on year, while remaining stable month on month, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) based on its preliminary statistics.
In the September 1-10 period, passenger new energy vehicle (NEV) retail sales in China totaled 172,000 units, up 40.0 percent year on year, while rising by 9.0 percent month on month.
In the current year up to September 10, passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 13.651 million units, up 2.0 percent year on year.
In the current year up to September 10, passenger NEV retail sales reached 4.615 million units, up 36.0 percent year on year.
