Passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 804,000 units during the September 1-17 period this year, up 10 percent year on year, while up two percent month on month, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) based on its preliminary statistics.
In the September 1-17 period, passenger new energy vehicle (NEV) retail sales in China totaled 313,000 units, up 29.0 percent year on year, while rising by 8.0 percent month on month.
In the current year up to September 17, passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 14.017 million units, up 2.0 percent year on year.
In the current year up to September 17, passenger NEV retail sales reached 4.756 million units, up 36.0 percent year on year.
