CPCA: China’s passenger vehicle retail sales expect to increase by 5.2% in June

Passenger vehicle retail sales in China in June this year are estimated at 1.83 million units, up 5.2 percent month on month, while decreasing by 5.9 percent year on year, according to the preliminary statistics by China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

In June, new energy passenger vehicle retail sales are expected to total 670,000 units, up 26.0 percent year on year, while increasing by 15.5 percent month on month, with permeability ratio reaching 36.6 percent in the given month.

According to the CPCA, at the beginning of June, demand for vehicles has decreased, while demand improved later in the given month amid the half-year promotion activities.
