CPCA: China’s passenger vehicle retail sales down 34.6 percent in Jan

Passenger vehicle retail sales in China are expected to total 1.36 million units in January this year, down 34.6 percent year on year, while down 37.3 percent month on month, according to the data issued by China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

In particular, new energy passenger vehicle retail sales in the given period are expected to amount to 360,000 units, up 1.8 percent year on year, while down 43.8 percent month on month.
