Corus hikes section prices in May

Anglo-Dutch steel producer Corus is increasing base prices of structural section by £60 per ton for UK market to be effective as of May 30, 2004. The price increase is covering category A sizes of beams, columns, parallel flange channels and angles. It is stated that, although not confirmed yet, the prices of plate and strip may be increased to be in effect as of the aforementioned date.
