CISA mills' average daily crude steel output up 8.15% in late Feb

On March 6, the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) announced that in late February (February 21-28) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.7110 million mt, up 8.15 percent compared to mid-February (February 11-20). 

According to the CISA's previous figures, in mid-February this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China had amounted to 1.6376 million mt, up 0.60 percent from early February (February 1-10).

Meanwhile, as of February 28, overall inventory of the main finished steel products in the major steel markets in China totaled 17.1279 million mt, up 4.02 percent as compared to the figure recorded on February 20.
