Russia-based steel pipe producer ChTPZ Group has announced that it has passed a voluntary certification audit to meet the system of quality management in line with the requirements of STO Gazprom 9001-2012. The three-year certificate confirms the right of ChTPZ to ship products to Gazprom, Russia’s state-run natural gas monopoly.
In the process of the audit, specialists from the Certification Association “Russian Register” (Saint-Petersburg) inspected the existing plant integrated management system, visited production shops, assessed the plans of ChTPZ regarding modernization, development and mastering of new types of products. As Gazprom’s new requirements comprise obligatory activity of the enterprise on risk management in the sphere of quality and supplies, the specialists of “Russian Register” monitored the methods applied at ChTPZ for analysis and development of measures for the reduction of the level of risks and made a positive conclusion.
