China’s steel sheet and plate exports down 5.1 percent in Jan-Nov

China’s steel sheet/plate exports totaled 39.68 million mt in the January-November period this year, down 5.1 percent year on year, with the declining pace slowing down 1.5 percentage points compared to that recorded in the first ten months this year, according to the Chinese customs authorities.

In November alone, China exported 3.3 million mt of steel sheet/plate, up 15.6 percent year on year, while rising by 8.2 percent month on month.
