In July alone, China’s iron ore production totaled 85.709 million mt, increasing by eight percent year on year, while rising by 0.65 percent month on month.

In July, import iron ore prices increased first and subsequently fluctuated at relatively high levels during the month, but as of July 26 they moved on a downtrend due to the negative impacts of heavy rainfalls and floods caused by typhoons Doksuri and Khanun.
