China’s coal output rises by 16 percent in January-March

In the January-March period of the current year, China’s raw coal output amounted to 970 million mt, rising by 16 percent year on year, while increasing by 15.4 percent compared to the same period of 2019, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

At the same time, China imported 68.46 million mt of coal in the first three months this year, down 28.5 percent year on year.
