China’s Ansteel posts net loss of RMB 3.257 billion for 2023

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Anshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd (Ansteel) has issued its financial report for 2023.

The company stated that its operating revenue amounted to RMB 113.502 billion ($15.9 billion) in the given period, down 13.4 percent year on year, while it recorded a net loss of RMB 3.257 billion ($0.46 billion), shifting from a net profit of RMB 186 million recorded in 2022.
