Baotou Steel Union expects higher net profit for H1 2026

Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Steel Union Co., Ltd. (Baotou Steel Union) has announced that its net profit is expected to amount to RMB 230-300 million ($33.9-44.2 million) for the January-June period this year, rising by 52-98 percent year on year.

The company stated that it has strengthened product structural adjustment and promoted cost reduction and efficiency improvement, contributing to the increased net profit in the given period.
