The China Auto Dealer General Inventory Index stood at 1.7 in October this year, up from 1.51 recorded in September, as announced by the China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA).

CADA said the inventory index still stood above the warning level.

As of October 31 this year, the inventory of vehicles held by auto dealers amounted to around 3.4 million units.

CADA urged auto dealers to ensure reasonable control of inventory levels in line with the actual demand situation in the market.
