Carbon metal division of BHP Billiton works at full capacity

According to recent news in the market, carbon metal division of Australian mill BHP Billiton works at full capacity to meet surging Chinese demand for raw materials. The division includes coking coal, manganese and iron ore operations of the company. Moreover, division's South Africa manganese and manganese alloy operations are also working at full capacity. Moreover, BHP Billiton has been conducting feasibility work to determine the areas, where it can increase production to meet the demand. Accordingly, it will conduct additional projects for its existing operations to increase annual iron ore production to 110 million tons.
