According to Statistics Canada, Canada produced 4,003,460 mt of iron ore concentrates in July, down 5.9 percent from June and down 20.7 percent from July 2020.
Canadian iron ore producers shipped 2,278,682 mt of iron ore concentrates in July, up 15.8 percent from June but down 52.2 percent from July 2020.
Closing inventories of iron ore concentrates at Canadian producers totaled 7,064,373 mt in July, compared to 6,313,380 mt in June and 5,592,622 mt in July 2020.
