According to Statistics Canada, Canada produced 4,981,461 mt of iron ore concentrates in June 2026, down 3.8 percent from May 2026 and up 6 percent from June 2025.
Canadian iron ore producers shipped 2,884,491 mt of iron ore concentrates in June, down 16.7 percent from May and down 33.4 percent from June 2025.
Closing inventories of iron ore concentrates at Canadian producers totaled 9,110,066 mt in June, up 21.4 percent from May and up 4.3 percent from June 2025.
