According to Statistics Canada, Canada produced 4,622,257 mt of iron ore concentrates in February 2026, down 15.7 percent from January 2026 and down 8.2 percent from February 2025.
Canadian iron ore producers shipped 2,835,633 mt of iron ore concentrates in February, down 3.4 percent from January and down 2.7 percent from February 2025.
Closing inventories of iron ore concentrates at Canadian producers totaled 7,346,953 mt in February, up 3.1 percent from January and down 35.6 percent from February 2025.
