Canadian iron ore production down 3.9 percent in November

According to Statistics Canada, Canada produced 5,612,969 mt of iron ore concentrates in November, down 3.9 percent from October but up 11.4 percent from November 2021.

Canadian iron ore producers shipped 3,160,272 mt of iron ore concentrates in November, down 21.5 percent from October but up 23.5 percent from November 2021.

Closing inventories of iron ore concentrates at Canadian producers totaled 8,009,383 mt in November, compared to 7,435,087 mt in October and 4,722,434 mt in November 2021.
