CAAM: China’s NEV sales to reach 9.0 million units in 2023

Chen Shihua, Chen Shihua, deputy secretary general of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), stated that the new energy vehicle sales are expected to reach 9.0 million units in the year of 2023, which will keep a rapid growth on yearly basis.

Meanwhile, China’s vehicle consumption may peak at around 40 million units, while the future growth of vehicle consumption may be from the third-tier and below cites.
