CAAM: China’s auto exports down 13.1 percent in January-August

In August this year, China’s auto export volume totaled 63,000 units, up 12.8 percent month on month, while increasing by 21.1 percent year on year, including 43,000 passenger vehicles and 20,000 commercial vehicles, up 20.4 percent and down 0.3 percent month on month, while up 29.6 percent and rising by 6.3 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
 
In the January-August period of the current year, China’s auto export volume totaled 433,000 units, down 13.1 percent year on year, including 278,000 passenger vehicles and 155,000 commercial vehicles, down 3.0 percent and decreasing by 26.8 percent year on year, respectively.
