Belarus increases crude steel output by 2.6 percent in Jan-Mar

According to data released by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, in the first three months of the current year Belarus increased metallurgical production by 1.6 percent compared to the same period of last year to BYR 9.273 trillion ($1.15 billion) . In particular, crude steel production in Belarus in the given period increased by 2.6 percent to 703,400 mt, output of rolled metal went up by three percent to 657,000 mt, and production of steel pipes moved down by 0.3 percent to 58,900 mt.
