Baosteel supplies 20,000 mt of HFW steel pipes to Brazil

Chinese steel giant Baosteel Group has stated that its Steel Tube, Pipe and Bar Business Unit has completed production of over 20,000 mt of high grade, large diameter, thick-walled high-frequency welding (HFW) steel pipes for the Brazilian Ore Pulp X70 Line Pipe Project. According to Baosteel, the products have all been delivered to the customer.
 
47.9 percent of the products have wall thickness above 15.9 mm, while the maximum wall thickness is 19.1 mm.
