According to Shanghai-based Chinese steel giant Baosteel, Baosteel Research Institute Special Steel Technology Center and Baosteel Special Steel Business Unit have developed production of nickel alloy corrosion-resistant UNS N08810 large diameter (LD) hot-extruded steel pipes, with the first batch of 95 mt already delivered to customers. Product quality is in line with customer requirements.

Nickel alloy corrosion-resistant steel pipe is one of the core products of the hot extrusion production line of Baosteel's Special Steel Business Unit, and is applied in the most testing working conditions. Demand for the product in question in China has up to now been mainly supplied by imports and so prices for the product in China are relatively high.
