Baogang inks cooperation agreement with Fives Group

Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang) has inked a cooperation agreement with French industrial engineering company Fives Group (Fives), as announced by Baogang on July 30.

Baogang stated that it will establish a technical cooperation team as soon as possible to learn advanced technology and management from Fives Group within the scope of this agreement. In addition, the two sides will complete a research and development (R&D) and sales plan and in particular will focus on the development of steel plate used in the automotive industry. 

Fives Group designs and supplies machines, process equipment and production lines for the world’s largest industrial groups, including the aluminium, steel, glass, automotive, aerospace, logistics, cement and energy sectors.
