The Austria-based ferroalloy producer DCM DECOmetal GmbH (DCM) has bought a 20 percent stake in one of Russia's largest ferroalloy traders United Ferro Alloys System (UFAS). The deal was a result of the strategic partnership achieved by the two companies earlier. The current transaction will allow both DCM and UFAS to increase their sales in the Russian and world markets. According to the Russian trader's representative, DCM will supply to Russia metal manganese, as well as ferromanganese and other ferroalloys, which will be used to expand UFAS's sales network.
