On July 28, Asian Development Bank (ADB) released its assessment for the future economic development of the 10 ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries and for China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea.
Asian Development Bank said that GDP growth in the 14 locations mentioned will be slower in the coming two years because governments are seeking to control inflation and also as the economies of developed countries are reviving slowly. The overall GDP of the 14 economic regions in question will increase by 7.9 percent in 2011 and by 7.7 percent in 2012. Meanwhile, China's GDP is predicted by the ADB to increase by 9.6 percent in 2011 and by 9.2 percent in 2012.
