ArcelorMittal secures natural gas supply in Poland

Polish energy company ORLEN has announced that it has signed long-term contracts with ArcelorMittal Poland and ArcelorMittal Warszawa, subsidiaries of Luxembourg-based steel producer ArcelorMittal, for the supply of natural gas.

The estimated value of the contracts is approximately PLN 4.64 billion ($1.15 billion).

The contracts will be implemented from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2028, and the estimated maximum volume of supplies during this period may amount to 26 TWh of natural gas.
