ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih’s crude steel output falls by 13 percent in January-July

In the January-July period of the current year, the crude steel production of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 3.092 million mt, down 13 percent year on year. In addition, in the first seven months of the year, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih registered a 12 percent decrease year on year in its finished steel output to 2.7 million mt.

During the period in question, coke production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih decreased by four percent to 1.486 million mt, while its iron ore concentrate output increased by seven percent to 5.442 million mt, both on year-on-year basis.
