ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih’s crude steel output falls by 10 percent in January-April

In the January-April period of the current year, the crude steel production of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 1.838 million mt, down 10 percent year on year. In addition, in the first four months of the year, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih registered a 12 percent decrease year on year in its finished steel output to 1.573 million mt.

During the period in question, coke production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih rose by two percent to 889,000 mt, while its iron ore concentrate output increased by two percent to 2.875 million mt - both on year-on-year basis.
