ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih’s crude steel output rises by 26.8 percent in Jan-Oct

According to preliminary data, in January-October this year ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih, Ukraine-based subsidiary of the world's largest integrated metals and mining company ArcelorMittal, saw its crude steel production increase by 26.8 percent year on year to 5.1 million mt.

In addition, during the first ten months of this year, ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih produced 4.453 million mt of finished steel - up 22.3 percent, 4.414 million mt of pig iron - up 25 percent, 7.927 million mt of agglomerate - up 25.3 percent, about 2.24 million mt of coke - up 17.5 percent, 7.3 million mt of iron ore concentrate - up 27 percent, and 988,800 mt of iron ore - down about five percent, all compared to the same period of 2009.
