Anglo American creates alliance with Severstal

One of the world's largest mining and natural resource groups, Anglo American, and Russian steelmaker Severstal have signed an agreement on the establishment of an alliance to jointly explore deposits of nickel , cooper and zinc in Russia. The initial focus of the alliance of the two groups will be directed towards deposits in Russia's Republic of Karelia and Murmans Region, with the intention of jointly developing them.
