The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Wednesday the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping order on circular welded non-alloy steel pipe and tube (standard pipe) from Mexico.
The review originally covered eight companies –Conduit S.A. de C.V. (Conduit); Lamina y Placa Comercial, S.A. de C.V. (Lamina); Mueller Comercial de Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V. (Mueller); PYTCO, S.A. de C.V. (PYTCO); Regiomontana de Perfiles y Tubos, S.A. de C.V. (Regiomontana); Southland Pipe Nipples Co., Inc. (Southland); Ternium Mexico, S.A. de C.V. (Ternium); and Tuberia Nacional, S.A. de C.V. (Tuberia Nacional) – during the period from November 1, 2011 through October 31, 2012.
Subsequent to the initiation of this review, the requests were withdrawn for reviews of Conduit, PYTCO, Southland, and Ternium. Accordingly, the DOC rescinded the review of these companies.
The DOC made a final determination that the remaining companies – Lamina, Mueller, Regiomontana, and Tuberia Nacional – made no shipments of subject merchandise to the United States during the period of review.
Accordingly, the current dumping duty deposit rates for these companies will remain in effect: Lamina (formerly Tuberia Nacional) – 2.92 percent; Mueller – 19.81 percent; Ternium – 48.33 percent; Tuberia Nacional – 2.92 percent; and the “All Others” rate of 32.62 percent for the remaining companies.
