According to market sources, Turkish producers’ export offer range for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from HRC of S235 grade as per EN 10219 is still at $570-590/mt FOB, while $10/mt discounts on the lower end of this price range are possible for buyers of larger volumes.

On the other hand, it is heard that Turkish pipe producers are receiving weak demand from the export markets due to the holidays in Europe and the approaching Feast of Sacrifice holiday in the Middle East and Africa. Although ERW pipe buyers' counter offers are $20/mt below Turkish mills’ price levels, Turkish suppliers are refusing to reduce their offers to these levels citing production costs.
