Over the past week, Turkish welded pipe producers’ domestic offer range for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from HRC of S235 grade as per EN 10219 has remained at $570-580/mt ex-works. However, it is noted that discounts on the lower end of this price range are possible for buyers of larger volumes.

It is heard that domestic pipe demand in Turkey has decreased ahead of the Feast of the Sacrifice holiday. Besides, market sources draw attention to the fact that Turkish pipe producers have not yet cut their domestic offers on US dollar basis, despite the appreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar.
