Demand in the local Turkish welded pipe market has partially improved over the past seven days, while it is heard that buyers have greater bargaining power in the market as producers are competing to meet the demand coming from buyers.

Turkish welded pipe producers’ domestic offer range for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from HRC of S235 grade as per EN 10219 has remained stable week on week at $575-600/mt ex-works. Market sources report that the upper end of the price range in question has not gained acceptance from buyers.
