Over the past week, Turkish producers’ export offer range for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from HRC of S235 grade as per EN 10219 has remained unchanged in the range of $560-580/mt FOB. SteelOrbis has been informed that higher offers are heard in the market but have failed to gain acceptance from buyers.

According to market sources, Turkish welded pipe producers have received demand mostly from European and African countries. On the other hand, international demand for Turkish welded pipe is observed to be at relatively good levels. However, buyers have the upper hand in the market due to the current conditions, and so Turkish welded pipe and hollow section mills are willing to be more flexible.
