Demand in the Turkish welded pipe market has remained at moderate levels in the past week, while prices have increased by $10/mt in this period. "Demand is stable. We are still selling for November production but the remaining production capacity is low for November. Buyers have accepted new price levels and our prices are supported by current hot rolled coil prices," a producer told SteelOrbis. Prices are now at $590-600/mt ex-works in the Turkish welded pipe market.

On the export side, demand is also moderate and prices have increased by $10/mt to $560-580/mt FOB since last week. "We still receive demand from the EU and an increasing trend in HRC in the EU also supports welded pipe prices in the market," an exporter told SteelOrbis.

** Prices are given for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from HRC of S235 grade as per EN 10219, on theoretical weight basis.
