Turkish pipe maker Erciyas Çelik Boru Sanayi A.Ş. has announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2026.
Accordingly, in the given quarter Erciyas registered a net profit of TRY 117.05 million ($2.68 million), compared to a net loss of TRY 63.42 million in the same period of 2025. In the same period, the company’s sales revenues decreased by 27.2 percent year on year to TRY 990.77 million ($22.73 million), while it recorded an operating profit of TRY 48.29 million ($1.1 million), compared to an operating profit of TRY 219.74 million in the first quarter of the previous year.
In the given period, 73 percent of the company’s total pipe sales tonnage consisted of export sales, while on a sectoral basis, 83 percent of revenues came from steel pipes, 11 percent from energy, and 16 percent from the wagon segment. In the first quarter of last year, exports accounted for 64 percent of Erciyas’s total sales.
Looking at the projects during the given period, the company signed an $8 million agreement for the production of steel piling pipes to be used in the expansion project of the Aksaz Naval Base Command. A total of 12,600 meters of coated steel piling pipes, consisting of 210 pipes each measuring 60 meters in length, are planned to be shipped in the third quarter of 2026.
The company has an annual spiral welded steel pipe production capacity of about 600,000 mt.
