Local offer prices have increased by $20/mt week on week to $500-530/mt ex-works in the Turkish welded pipe market. "We have better demand and higher HRC prices now. With the increase in our raw material costs, our prices have also moved up," a producer told SteelOrbis. "We have sold out our materials almost until October and last week demand was also good. Since yesterday, we have seen a decline in demand, but this is normal. Next week, we have holidays for the Feast of Sacrifice, and after the holidays we expect to see better demand," another producer told SteelOrbis.

On the export side, prices have also increased by $20/mt, to $490-510/mt FOB. Demand has failed to improve, but due to better local demand producers are not aggressive in the export markets.

** Prices are given for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from HRC of S235 grade as per EN 10219, on theoretical weight basis.
