Trading activity in the local Turkish welded pipe market has been slack this week due to the four-day Feast of Sacrifice holiday starting at the beginning of the week. Demand was also lackluster. Turkish welded pipe producers made no revisions in their prices since the domestic prices hot rolled coil - which is used as feedstock in steel pipe production – moved sideways.

Accordingly, Turkish producers’ offers for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from hot rolled coil (HRC) of S235 grade as per EN 10219 to the domestic market remained stable in the range of $480-510/mt ex-works.

Meanwhile, Turkish producers’ welded pipe export offers for the abovementioned grade remained unchanged week on week at $480-520/mt FOB.
