The Spanish seamless
pipe market has witnessed a slightly downward trend over the past month due to the unfavourable sales performance. Domestic and export quotations of Spanish seamless pipes have declined by a maximum of €20/mt ($41-42/mt) over the past month affected by soft demand from local and overseas buyers. At the same time, import offers of seamless pipes from
China have decreased by a maximum of €5/mt ($16/mt) over the same period. Import quotations of seamless pipes from
Ukraine have moved up by a maximum of €10/mt ($1/mt) over the period under review, while offers of Italian materials have decreased by €20-30/mt ($44-58/mt). Most market players are maintaining a wait-and-see stance towards the future market and prices are unlikely to change significantly in the near term.
