Prices in the local Turkish welded pipe market have remained unchanged once again this week due to the ongoing weakness of demand. Market sources state that the sideways movement seen in hot rolled coil (HRC) prices has supported the stability of Turkish welded pipe prices. Also, Turkish producers have continued to offer volume discounts, depending on buyer and tonnage, in both local and export markets.

Most offers of Turkish ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from hot rolled coil (HRC) of S235 grade as per EN 10219 to the domestic market are at about $350-385/mt ex-works on actual weight basis, moving sideways on average over the past week.

Meanwhile, Turkish producers are still offering ERW pipes and hollow sections made from HRC of steel grade S235 JRH as per EN 10219 to foreign customers at around $340-350/mt FOB, on theoretical weight basis.
