Local Chinese steel pipe prices have mostly softened slightly during the past week.

Local Chinese seamless pipe prices have moved sideways or down slightly during the past seven days, though small increases in billet prices have provided some support. Overall trading activity has increased and been at normal levels. As for the week ahead, it is believed that seamless pipe prices may rebound a little.

Local Chinese welded pipe prices have moved down by small margins during the past week, though the recovery of demand has ensured some support for prices. Overall trading activity has been at normal levels. In order to close more deals, most traders still chose to reduce their quoted prices a little. As for the week ahead, it is believed that welded pipe prices may indicate small fluctuations.
