Chinese steel pipe export offer prices move sideways

During the week ending July 17, average Chinese steel pipe export offer prices have moved on a stable trend. At present, export offers for API 5L seamless pipe given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $635-725/mt FOB, while export offers for API 5L welded pipe given by Chinese suppliers are at $570-580/mt FOB.

During the given week, the rainy weather in China has exerted a negative impact on the steel pipe market where a wait-and-see mood currently prevails. It is expected that steel pipe prices from China will again move sideways in the coming week.
