During the given week, though players in the steel pipe market have gradually returned to work, demand from downstream users for steel pipe has still been slack amid the ongoing coronavirus epidemic. The spread of the virus has been reported in more countries, which will exert a negative impact on steel pipe exports.

Rebar futures prices at Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) stand at RMB 3,447/mt ($491.5/mt) on February 26, up RMB 53/mt ($7.6/mt) from February 19.
