On January 3, SteelOrbis reported domestic silicomanganese offers in India at INR 72,500-73,000/mt ($1,143-1,151/mt) ex-works, up from December prices.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that offer prices have softened slightly and are now reportedly at INR 71,000/mt ($1,118/mt) ex-works in the regions of Dugapur and Raipur. The new offer price reflects a decline of $25-33/mt compared to early January. Offers have reportedly remained at that level for the past week on moderate market activity.
