On Friday, September 18, South Africa-based ferrochrome producer Merafe Resources, which operates a chrome joint venture with Glencore in South Africa, announced its European benchmark ferrochrome (FeCr) price for the fourth quarter of 2020. The price has been rolled over and remains at $1.14/lb for the third consecutive quarter.
